When I hear the word carrier, a few things come to mind. Mainly, AT&T/Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile because I used to write for Ubergizmo.com. The second thing that comes to mind would be the Protoss Carrier from StarCraft. Well, today it has a new meaning for me. Let me start from the beginning.

You’re only relevant until you get older.
So this year marks the first time for a lot of things for me. Perhaps too many for my own good? Last month was the first time I had ever left the country to study, and it was also the first time I had been away from home for such a long time.

Never meant to hold your head under the water, my love
It’s now week 3 of my 4-week long TEFL course in Phuket, and I gotta say – the past 2 weeks have been a blast. This week is going to be hell – tons of assignments, classes to teach, notes to revise, and the dreaded mock exams. Our finals will be next Monday, I’ll probably need to pick up some Adderall this weekend to survive. Just kidding.
