• Carrier, carrier, carrier.

When I hear the word carrier, a few things come to mind. Mainly, AT&T/Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile because I used to write for Ubergizmo.com. The second thing that comes to mind would be the Protoss Carrier from StarCraft. Well, today it has a new meaning for me. Let me start from the beginning.

  • Keep looking forward

    Keep looking forward

You’re packed you’re all set for the road
What’s left at home is an empty room
You know it’s not so easy but no one ever said it was
You tried so hard to make up your mind
Now all that’s left is by your design
You say it’s not so easy but that’s just what life’s all about

    You’ve made up your mind
    But you’re still unsure
    Is this what you want?

Your friends, your life, now in photographs
You take a breath and you close your eyes
You know it’s not so easy but no one ever said it was
Don’t wait, hesitate, or doubt yourself
You’re in this now so give it all you’ve got
You say it’s not so easy but that’s just what life’s all about

    Don’t be so sad when
    You’re saying long goodbyes
    Don’t think it’s over
    Before you even try
    It’s the start of
The start of a new life
    Keep looking forward
    Don’t be so sad when
    You’re saying long goodbyes
    Don’t think it’s over
    Before you even try
    It’s the start of
The start of a new life
    Because it’s not the end

Dedicated to my Phuket May 2012 CTESOL classmates. I wrote this song while in my room in Phuket and managed to finish it the very night before I left Thailand. Pretty self explanatory lyrics. It’s still a demo, and I recorded this a few hours after leaving the hospital, but whatever. Raw music kicks ass. Enjoy! <3

  • You’re only relevant until you get older.

So this year marks the first time for a lot of things for me. Perhaps too many for my own good? Last month was the first time I had ever left the country to study, and it was also the first time I had been away from home for such a long time.
