  • The layers of skin we drag around

So, almost three years ago I wrote a blog post about being one month old in Priority Communications. It’s crazy how fast time flies. Now I feel like I’m writing a foreword for a CSR Newsletter…

I’m feeling all over the place. So forgive my incoherent ramblings.

It’s almost like I don’t want to leave this place… I kid. It’s time for me to move on.

It’s been a great experience working with the company. I’m thankful to Elaine and co. for taking me in. For taking a chance on me. For molding and shaping me into who I’ve been for the past almost-three-years. They took in this guy who knew next to nothing about public relations, gave me the tools, and showed me what I had to do to become a competent employee. Livan, Leroy, Melody, Rachel – thank you for the help. I know I’m not the example of a perfect employee, but trust me when I say you guys did a great job.

I’ll be taking all the lessons I learnt with me to my new job and beyond. Write softer emails! Don’t use negative words and phrases! To Mozers’ staff!

While I’m extremely eager to embark on the next chapter of my life – I leave Priority with some of the fondest memories. I’ve made plenty of friends there (yes Leroy, friends not colleagues) who I’ll keep in touch with when I’m gone.

To my team at Priority – I’m certain that I’ve left the account in good hands. You guys are more than capable of handling whatever tasks you get. I believe in all of you. Take care and keep the business running.

To everyone else in Priority – thanks for being a part of my life in the company, regardless of how big or small the role we played in each others’ lives.

Maybe I’ll see you guys at my future gigs. Or bump into you in the streets. I’m sure we’ll all cross paths again in the future.

    Till we meet again,
    The office Twitch.TV addict

  • A poem of prepositions: Defense of the Ancients

Two teams separated by a river
Out for blood and fighting to the death
    Defending what is theirs
They do it because that’s all they know

    Valiant heroes fighting for justice
    Evil villians destroying for chaos
Neither are right and neither are wrong
They do it because that’s all they know

Are both teams two sides of the same coin?
    Were they misled into bloodthirst?
Find out at the next battle
If they do it because that’s all they know?

  • An Open Book?

I remember many years ago, somebody asked me, “Why do you write so much in your blog? Why do you put your life out there for everyone to read?”
I don’t remember what I answered that person, but it was probably along the lines of “because it’s fun?”
