  • Changing Times

    There’s one thing I can say about technology – it always changes. One of the most notable changes is the User Interface (UI) of a program or website we use. Many popular changes include Facebook’s Timeline UI, Windows 8’s radical Metro UI (now called Modern, I think), and most recently – Dota 2: Reborn (which I love BTW).

    Regardless of what changed, one thing is for certain – there’s always going to be the vocal majority who absolutely hate the new design. Remember when people were creating petitions to ask Facebook to switch back to the old UI? Yeah, I remember.

  • (Goodbye, Lost and Long Forgotten)

    “Please stop, it hurts!” pleaded Tanya, tears beginning to stream down her face. “I’m sorry. Please let me go.”

    “What did I specifically tell you not to do?” Tanya’s mother asked her sternly, a fistful of her daughter’s pony tail in her wrinkled hand.

    “You… you told me… not to play… with the boys… in the park,” replied Tanya in between sobs.

  • An Open Book?

    I remember many years ago, somebody asked me, “Why do you write so much in your blog? Why do you put your life out there for everyone to read?”
    I don’t remember what I answered that person, but it was probably along the lines of “because it’s fun?”
