Should’ve Said Something

So I’ve been working on a new song, and today when I came home I decided to demo it. Leave comments/feedback!
It’s up on myspace, and if you want an mp3 of it, just let me know (give me your email add if I don’t already have it) and I’ll send it to you!

EDIT: Download it here!

Should’ve Said Something

I drag this cigarette
Just to pass the time
I confess I’ve been doing everything just to get you off my mind
But nothing seems to work
Oh we’ve had time
We’ve had distance we’re miles apart for sure
We’ve had distance we’re miles apart for sure
I wish we were closer
I wouldn’t feel so terrible
If you were here
Oh I planned and I planned and planned

Should’ve said something just to make it work
Should’ve said something just to make you stay
Should’ve said something
Should’ve said anything

Should’ve said something just to sort it out
Should’ve said something before you went away
Should’ve said something
Should’ve said anything

I drag this cigarette
Just to pass the time
I confess I’ve been doing everything just to get you off my fucking mind
But nothing seems to work
Oh we’ve had time
We’ve had distance we’re miles apart for sure
We’ve had distance we’re miles apart for sure
I wish we were closer
I wouldn’t feel so terrible
If you were here
Oh I planned and abandoned my plans

Oh I planned and I planned and planned
Oh I planned and abandoned my plans

  2. i think you should just write pop punk songs. i don’t think you should consider yourself a singer-songwriter. you remind me of new found glory / sum 41 type bands

  3. gclk : this song was inspired by the ex.. haha

the chad : I sing and write songs, doesn’t that make me a singer-songwriter? are you implying that singers in pop punk bands that write aren’t considered singer-songwriters? What are you trying to say? And aren’t the songs I write pop punk anyway? I don’t think I’ve been writing any other style..
